Israk & Mikraj

When we talk about the events of Israk and Mikraj, we will spontaneously imagine the journey of the Prophet together with the angels Gabriel and Michael which can be divided into two phases:
1.      Israk is the journey of Prophet Muhammad to ride the Buraq beast from the Sacred Mosque in Mecca to the Aqsa Mosque, in Baitulmaqdis, Palestine.
2.      Mikraj is a journey from the Aqsa Mosque to Sidratil Muntaha in the seventh heaven. The journey of Prophet Muhammad has been immortalized by Allah سبحانه وتعالى in the Qur'an:
3.
"Glory be to Allah Who has performed His servant one night from Al-Masjidil Haram to Al-Masjidil Aqsa which we have blessed around him, that We may show him some of Our signs. Surely He is the Hearer, the Seer. "
(Surah Al-Israa ': Verse 1).
Do we realise that if Israk Mikraj never happened on Rejab 27th, we would have been performing more than five prayer times a day. In general, Israk Mikraj is a journey of our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW to Sidratul Muntaha to meet Allah SWT as a command from Him to perform daily prayers of five times a day.
Before the Israk and Mikraj incident, Prophet Muhammad undergo chest surgery performed by the angels Jibrail and Mika'il. His heart washed with water zam-zam and thrown black lumps ('alaqah) where the devil whispered it. Then poured wisdom, knowledge and faith into the chest of the Prophet . After that, his father's were sewn and painted with "khatimin nubuwwah" .
After the surgery, a beast was named "Buraq" to be ridden by Rasulullah on a tremendous journey called "Israk" .
Through the phenomenal event arranged by Allah, it is seen as one of His divinities that we as human should acknowledge without questioning why. Allah also wants to remind all mankind His power is beyond ordinary that no human has the capability to imagine the truest power of the Almighty.
Apart from that, Israk Mikraj was also an event of substitution for the grief of Prophet Muhammad SAW, after he faced a multitude of trials, particularly the tremendous opposition in his dakwah efforts.
Meanwhile, the loss of his relative, Abu Talib was also the cause of Muhammad’s grief and his uncle died in a state of disbelief to Allah SWT. In fact, the death of his beloved wife, Siti Khadijah Khuwailid further extended Muhammad’s grief.
In addition to the indication of the greatness of Allah SWT through the phenomenal event of Israk Mikraj, it was also concocted to enlighten the recognition of Muhammad as the final messenger of Allah in the Earth. So with the presence of Israk Mikraj, this proves the honour of Prophet Muhammad SAW and that of it should be remembered all the time.
Even though the event of Israk Mikraj is absolutely unimaginable and beyond our ability to visualise, all believers holding the faith to Allah SWT must be convinced with the event without any doubts. That’s because surely only Allah SWT knows everything in His power. What needs to be seeded in the heart is our belief towards Him and that we are required to be in a state of belief by performing daily prayers five times a day to prove our faith to Him.

Huge Flood In Kelantan

The huge flood that struck Kelantan in December 2014 was among the worst in the history of the country.
Often this flood is a scale of destruction that was not illustrated previously as a result of the devastating flood. If previously the Kelantan flood-prone areas were more concentrated in Kelantan's estuaries such as Kota Bharu, Tumpat, Pasir Mas, the combination of rain, tide and possibly water from the dam in southern Thailand, this time the flood was very thorough from the far upstream of the sea like the Cave Mushrooms up to the estuary.

Even the area is worse. Destruction in the Gua Musang and Kuala Krai areas is terrible as tsunami strikes. Destroyed homes have shown that there is an enormous force coming from floodwaters. It seems like it has not happened in our home country that has been moved or broken by the flood.

The condition of the previous flood was the stagnant water that flooded the area for some time and the damage was the result of subsidence by flood water. For example, major floods in Johor occurred in two waves in 2006-2007. Some have named the flood as a 'pensive' flood because of its water that refuses to move and recede for some time.

The flood is swift
In Kelantan recently, not only was the flood situation very tense, but the number was so large that there was a building sinking between two to three levels. In addition, this flood also brings mud which greatly demonstrates the occurrence of very high soil erosion.
Generally the major causes of floods are as follows:
a) The total amount of rainfall
Malaysia's position in tropical areas often receives high rainfall. The average annual rainfall for the Peninsular is 2,500 mm and for Sabah and Sarawak 3,500 mm. However there is a situation where rain falls too heavily at some point that can cause floods.
b) High tide
High river water can not flow directly to the sea when it collides with high tide. This will cause floods especially in areas near the sea such as Kota Bharu and Kuantan.
c) River basin
The size of a large river basin will have a large run of water when heavy rain. If the river capacity is insufficient, floods will occur.
d) Rapid development is uncontrollable
Widespread land clearing and uncontrolled tree felling causes water absorption to land to decline and runoff directly to the river quickly. According to the study, if development increases between 0-40 percent, it will result in a flow rate of 190 percent and speeding up twice. In addition, the rate of erosion will increase resulting in increased silt in the river. The shallower river will have a lower capacity, unable to accommodate the increased water and cause the water to flood the cliffs.
e) Irrigation infrastructure is insufficient
Existing infrastructure is often small to accommodate developed areas. When there is an increase in development, the infrastructure is inadequate and flood events occur frequently.

widely show that environment disasters that happen in our country is because of human itself. Widespread land clearing and uncontrolled tree felling causes water absorption to land to decline and runoff directly to the river quickly. Innocent villagers had to face the disasters while the benefits is get by others. Together, lets we stop this things from happen again.

LGBT in Malaysia

Hi everyone... today i want to discuss with you on social issue among malaysian which is LGBT.

LGBT, or GLBT, is an initialism that stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender. In use since the 1990s, the term is an adaptation of the initialism LGBT, which was used to replace the term gay in reference to the LGBT community. beginning in the mid-to-late 1980s. Activists believed that the term gay community. did not accurately represent all those to whom it referred.

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) persons in Malaysia face legal challenges not experienced by non-LGBTresidents. Sodomy is a crime in the country, under a British Empire colonial era law. Social attitudes towards the LGBT community are also shaped by Islam, the official religion in Malaysia.

Malaysia will not recognise LGBT culture or same-sex marriage in the country as it does not subscribe to “Western values”, says Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
“While the government respects recommendations made by the Malaysian Human Rights Commission (Suhakam) on many human rights issues, some things are only meant for the West.
“Suhakam made a presentation today. While we agree with suggestions made by Suhakam, we must remind them that our value system is not the same with the West. They are more free.
“There are certain things that we cannot accept even though it is accepted as human rights in the West.
“This includes LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) and same-sex marriage,” said Dr Mahathir, after chairing a meeting with the special Cabinet committee on anti-corruption here yesterday.
The Prime Minister said Malaysia’s concept of a marriage only involved a man and a woman.
“A couple with their own children, or even adopted children, is considered a family. But two men and two women is not considered a family,” he said.

The doctor who served at King Perempuan Zainab 11 Hospital also wrote an open letter to Marina on Facebook on August 6, 2018.

Here is an open letter Dr. Nur IIyani to Marina:

Facing Cik Puan Marina bt Mahathir

1) I am a medical doctor and I do not recognize free sex acts.
2) Do you agree now that those who dominate the HIV charts are among the LGBT community?
3) Until now, even though the patients present treatment I belong to LGBT, I still treat them as patients and give them the best treatment. What's more, if they are at the end of their age. So, what rights are you fighting for?
4) Does Ms. agree if any blood donated by LGBTs is donated to one of Ms's family members? (Right now LGBT practitioners are not allowed to donate blood due to high-risk lifestyles). Is that the equality that Miss wants?
5) If you shout right, then we also want to shake the right to live peacefully and free of invasive lifestyle and all its inherited illnesses.
6) However, if you start promoting such a lifestyle in the media, you have begun to harass the security and order of our lives to gain pure access to media.
7) We also have the right to ensure that our children and our relatives are saved from falling into this reverse thinking and act. Na'uzubillah.
8) Finally, if you feel that it is not a sin and it is a personal right, make it but make sure you are not on God's earth!

The government announced a targeted fuel subsidy for those who own a single vehicle with engine capacity of 1,500cc and below. It will be set at an expected rate of least 30 sen per litre. Car owners will get up to 100 litres of subsidised fuel and motorcyclists up to 40 litres. The subsidy will kick in during the second quarter of 2019 and is estimated to cost the government RM2 billion annually.
Those on social media had been quick to point out that there are luxury car brands with engine capacities below 1,500cc, but Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng responded that there was “no hope” for those driving luxury cars to benefit from the subsidy. As it is now, the exact mechanism of this targeted fuel subsidy has yet to be clarified, with Lim asking for more time to iron out a proper system.

2) Toll hike freezes and abolished motorcycle tolls
All intra-city highways will have their toll prices frozen for 2019, costing the government an approximate amount of RM700 million. The toll for motorcycles for the First and Second Penang Bridge, as well as the Second Link in Johor, will be abolished effective 1 January 2019. This will cost the government about RM20 million per annum.

3) Unlimited monthly transport passes
A total of RM240 million will be allocated for an unlimited monthly public transport pass, to increase the utilisation of public transport. In a press conference held by Transport Minister Anthony Loke, further details about the travel pass were announced.

The new travel scheme will be limited to Malaysians only, through the use of their MyKad. According to Loke, users can start registering for the pass in December and begin utilising it from 12.01am on 1 January 2019.

4) Tax amnesty programme for 2019
A Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme will be launched, giving taxpayers the opportunity to voluntarily declare any unreported income and offering reduced penalties in return. The sooner you declare your unreported income, the lower the penalty you’ll have to pay for evading tax.
§  3 November 2018 – 31 March 2019: 10% penalty
§  1 April 2019 – 30 June 2019: 15% penalty
§  30 June 2019 onwards:80%–300% as provided for in existing tax laws.

5) New taxes introduced by Budget 2019
Here are four of the new taxes that will come into effect over the next year.
Service tax on imported services. Imported services such as architecture, graphic design, IT, and engineering design services will be subjected to service tax starting 1 January 2019.
Service tax on imported online service. Starting 1 January 2019, any Malaysian business that imports online services will have to pay a service tax. Similarly, consumers who are using foreign online services in Malaysia will have their transactions taxed starting 1 January 2020. Affected services include software, music, video, and digital advertising, such as Netflix and Spotify.
Departure levy. To encourage domestic tourism, the government is imposing a departure levy to those travelling abroad by air starting 1 June 2019. The proposed rate is broken into two tiers: RM20 for outbound travellers to ASEAN countries, and RM40 to countries other than ASEAN.
Sugary drink tax. From 1 April 2019, there will be a duty of 40 sen per litre on two broad categories of sweetened beverages: non-alcoholic beverages containing added sugars of more than 5gm per 100 ml drink and fruit juice containing added sugars of more than 12gm per 100 ml drink.

6) Gambling industry taxes increased after 13 years
Casino licences are to be increased by RM30 million to RM150 million per annum and casino duty charges will be increased up to 35% on gross collection. Machine dealers’ licences will be increased from RM10,000 to RM50,000 per year, and gaming duties will be increased from 20% to 30% on gross collection.

7) B40 households will continue to receive Bantuan Sara Hidup cash grants
The government support for B40 households will be continued under a new “Bantuan Sara Hidup” cash grant scheme. Households with a monthly income below RM2,000 will receive a sum of RM1,000, households with a monthly income between RM2,001–RM3,000 will receive RM750, and households earning between RM3,001–RM4,000 will receive RM500.
For every child 18 years and below or disabled member of the family, there will be an additional top-up of RM120 per child (up to a maximum of four children). 4.1 million households are expected to receive this financial assistance, amounting to RM5 billion in grants in total.

8) Assistance for civil servants
To show appreciation to civil servants, the government will be allocating a special payment of RM500 to public servants of Grades 54 and below. Government pensioners will receive a bonus of RM250, with those receiving less than RM1,000 in monthly pensions being eligible for a one-off RM500 assistance.
Muslim civil servants will be given seven days of unrecorded leave to perform their umrah, while to appreciate the 201,600 non-Muslims in civil service, the government will also grant a similar period of unrecorded leave for other religious pilgrimage and functions.
As for government contract staff who do not enjoy the full privileges enjoyed by full-time civil servants, the government will allocate RM10 million per year to extend healthcare services to the parents of these contract staff. Additionally, these contract officers may apply for quarantine leave should their children suffer from any infectious diseases.

9) Steps to encourage working retirees
The government has highlighted that there will be an estimated 1 million Malaysians aged between 61 and 65 years who will still be active and productive, and is proposing steps to encourage their participation in the workforce.
Budget 2019 proposes reducing the statutory employers’ share of EPF contribution for retirees from 6%to 4% and providing additional tax deduction to employers who employ those over the age of 60 up to a monthly salary of RM4,000. Both these steps would incentivise employers to hire or retain retirees, especially those in the B40 category. It is also proposed that the current mandatory employee contribution for this group be set to 0%, to increase the take-home pay of working retirees and encourage them to continue working as well.

10) First-time homeowners win over property investors
The government has taken steps to make it easier for Malaysian to finance affordable homes. On the other hand, those choosing to invest in or purchase higher-end properties may find some of the announcements not so favourable to them. Budget 2019 will increase the Real Property Gains Tax (RPGT) for properties sold after the fifth year from 5% to 10% for companies and foreigners, and from 0%to 5% for Malaysian individuals. The stamp duty charges for transfer of properties valued at more than RM1 million will also be increased from 3% to 4%.
However, for first-time home owners and those looking to buy affordable homes, the government has announced the following steps and initiatives:
§  -Housing with prices below RM200,000 will be exempted from RPGT
§  -First-time home owners purchasing properties priced up to RM500,000 will have stamp duty waived up to RM300,000
§  -The government’s six-month National Home Ownership Campaign will waive stamp duty charges on unsold properties priced between RM300,001 to RM1 million, while developers are to offer a minimum 10% price discount
§  -Exempted SST charges on construction and building materials
§  -RM1 billion fund offering a concessionary rate for home loans from as low as 3.5% per annum
§  -New property crowdfunding initiative
